Style Points
Within the world of Naruto and here on Naruto Role Play Center, characters have various styles that they use to harness their charka and so forth within the world and their body. These styles are typically known as Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Ijutsu, Kugutsu, and Fuuninjutsu. Each of these styles has their own value within the ninja world, and has a different theme about them, which shall be described in detail later on in this section.
Within the framework of Naruto Role Play Center, characters have a limited number of style points which they can be spent in a number of different ways. Style points can be spent to gain new styles or to increase existing styles “levels”. There are a total of 6 levels per style, whose effects get more potent the more style points are placed within them. The first three points are placed into what is known as conditioning levels, these levels represent the user’s ability to learn different levels of jutsu, allowing them to learn and master more complex techniques the stronger their affinity becomes. The last three points go into what is called Exceptional levels, these provide various bonuses to the user, allowing for them to perform kinjutsu, decreasing the cost of techniques, learning them faster, over all it shows that the user isn’t just adapt at learning, but capable of more than simply throwing out moves. Below are the various listings of how style points are applied in their full glory.

Finally there are a few exceptions to how style points work:

Below are the various listings of how style points are applied in their full glory.
Style Descriptions:
[*]Ninjutsu: The universal style, they deal with elemental and non-elemental jutsu, basically the magic of the setting. Ninjutsu aside from fuuninjutsu is possibly one of the most varied styles, with its applications allowing for a variety of creativity and usage. Mostly users of ninjutsu master either an element or a theme for their techniques, but on occasion many just dabble in different arts.
[*]Taijutsu: Run in and beat everyone up, Taijutsu users are masters of physical combat and desire nothing more than to smack someone with their fists to cut them with their sword. Pretty much focusing upon blunt action, conditioning their body and preparing themselves to become the weapon rather than using chakra to throw around weapons. While this style can be limited due to how physically taxing it can be, a strong foundation in taijutsu can usually mean the difference between life and death.
[*]Genjutsu: Masters of the illusion, genjutsu involves messing with the senses of the target in order to create illusions. Normally users of this style tend to keep their abilities secret and take advantage of the various weaknesses found within the body to cause disruption and confusion in others. Genjutsu users tend to lean more on the control side of chakra rather than the spamming of it, a precise and clever style, they rely on getting the jump or luring into a trap over just brute force.
[*]Ijutsu: Also known as Medical arts, Ijutsu involves the healing of others through both chakra and surgical procedures. Users of this style end up attempting to become scientists of the body, finding new ways to heal others and improve their physical conditions. They normally become expert surgeons allowing them to implant various bloodline doujutsu into others. One can’t have abilities/jutsu that provide healing without have at least a minor within this style (see below).
[*]Kugutsu: Also known as Puppetry is a style involving the manipulation of man-made puppets typically through chakra strings. While many end up trying to experiment on how to make their puppets stronger, or how to twist the human anatomy into a puppet, the majority of users simply desire more tactical options, and the technical aspects of puppetries designs and execution. Puppetry users can control Puppets depending on their rank and style point level. With it being 2 puppets at E-D rank, 4 puppets at C-B rank, 6 puppets at A rank, and 8 Puppets at S rank. One cannot control puppets without this style.
[*]Fuuninjutsu: The sealing arts, fuuninjutsu involves the most basic of seals that keep weapons within scrolls and seals which can block off entire areas of space. A varied and hard style to utilize, it requires both patience and precision to create such seals, but their applications have so many uses that is staunching. Fuuninjutsu is perhaps one of the most varied arts within the ninja world, as has utility to be combined with almost any other style, and its uses can be very unique. One can only use basic sealing items without this style.

Users at this level can learn Kinjutsu from their style, and learn jutsu from the style 30% faster (doesn’t stack with the previous level’s learning bonuses). Finally there are a few exceptions to how style points work:
Style Point Exceptions:
[*]Bloodline Jutsu: Users with a bloodline (or two) automatically count as having 1 style point towards learning jutsu that are within their bloodline. This doesn’t apply to jutsu that are of the Kugtsu and Ijutsu type.
[*]Earth Grudge Fear: Users of Earth Grudge Fear can only place up to 5 points within a style, they can never obtain the Perfectionist level within a style (as they can gain style points to spend from others whose hearts they have obtained).
[*]Nothing can grant extra style points: No abilities/jutsu/equipment can allow for extra style points being gained, there may be some exceptions to this, but the majority of them will be canon or event related. Regardless one can only have 1 perfectionist level style.
