What are Summons?
Summons are animals or creatures 'summoned' using a B rank kinjutsu and item scroll. In canon, a person would put their blood initials on the scroll which would grant them the ability to summon the creature's names written in the scroll.
How do I make a summoning contract?
You will use the item template currently in place, but all contracts will be B rank items. In the description you will simply put a small description of the contracted creatures specialty. As for requirements, they tend to be "Must be taken from or given to by current owner."
How do I make summons?
First, you will have to make a B rank item for the contract in the Post Weapons section. This will require 100 posts. Second, you make a list of the summons available in the Post Characters section. There is a template provided specifically for summons and pets.
How does the summoning system work here?
There are three levels of summons: Minor, Major and Bosses.
D-Rank shinobi are limited to minor summons. C rank shinobi are limited to Major summons, while A+ shinobi can summon boss summons.
How many jutsu can my summon know?
Minor summons are allowed 2 jutsu and are limited to B rank or less. Major summons are allowed 3 jutsu and are limited to A rank or less. Boss summons are allowed 5 jutsu and are limited to S rank or less, and are allowed 1 S rank kinjutsu. Kinjutsu is considered a half step higher for jutsu limit purposes.
Summons typically use jutsu that do not require hand seals; for jutsu that do use hand seals, it is assumed they use a version which does not. It is also allowed to make custom jutsu within the summon creation that is specifically designed for the summon only.
Summons and Items:
The weapons a summon can use depend on the level of the summon and the rank of the item. Minor summons are allowed to use items up to C rank. Summons Of Major rank are allowed to use items up to B rank. Boss summons are allowed to use items up to A rank. No summon is allowed to use S rank items.
Miscellaneous Information
You are not allowed to make contracts for summon types already made.
You are allowed to use already made contracts; however, you must have the contract creator's permission / administrator permission.
If the person who made the contract is inactive, you may ask an administrator to update the contract and become the owner yourself.
Contracts are limited to animals and some mythical beasts. You may find some exceptions, but for those you will likely need admin approval.

What are pets.
Pets are animals or Creatures that accompany certain ninja's, aiding them in battle and life. A ninja's pet is often his most loyal and trustworthy companion, and it is not rare for their owner to consider them to be as important to them as their own family, friends or even their own body. The bond between master and pet often lasts for the entirety of their lives, not being something to be taken lightly. The following rules only count for combat pets... you can still have a non combat pet without having the SA or a bloodline based around them. If you are caught using a non combat pet in combat, you will regret it.
How do I make pets?
The majority of pets require you to have the Pet Fighter special ability, then you are required to make the pet using the template in the post profiles section. There are also certain bloodlines, such as the Toreena or Kimera Franken clans, that have their own special kinds of pets, any additional special rules required for these pets are usually enclosed within the Bloodline. Unless it is otherwise stated, pets have access to the same number of style points as a character with a bloodline, however they are unable to gain additional style points at SS rank.
How Many Jutsu can my Pet Know?
The majority of pet types start off with the ability to learn up to 3 jutsu. As they increase in rank, they gain additional slots, one per each rank over E, gaining an additional extra slot at SS rank. This means an SS ranked pet could have up to 10 slots. If you wish to increase the number of pet slots that your pet has, but you can't rank train anymore, you can use an Auto Learn Jutsu slot, or even a normal jutsu slot, purchased from the forum shop as per your normal RPC's.
Also, in the case of learning the number of maximum rank jutsu available to the pet, they count as having the same title as the owner does, meaning that the pet of an S ranked jounin can learn up to 5 S ranked jutsu's. They don't however; gain any bonus from special titles such as the Elemental Master or ANBU titles. A pet from E to A rank can only have a single element, but S and SS ranked pets can learn a second, however no normal pets can have combo or non standard elements of any type. For certain jutsu, if they require hand signs, the owner is required to make these signs for the pet, unless they have hands of their own (such as a monkey pet).
How can I teach my Pets Jutsu
Pets learn jutsu the same way as people do, requiring the same amount of posts, that can be reduced using TP, If your training in your home village, you can teach pets any kind of jutsu that they are able to learn, however if your training outside your village, you cannot teach them any jutsu that you do not know yourself. This is because you have access to libraries of jutsu in your own village, where you can gain information to teach stuff you couldn't normally do. This also prevents the stupidity of trying to teach a pet how to do something like dynamic marking, or pet based taijutsu (such as attacking with claws), which you cannot realistically do yourself.

[*]They must be one rank lower than the RPC whom they are partnered with.
[*]They cannot have a bloodline/SA/Combat Style.
[*]A companion NPC is limited to a Major or two minors for fighting style, and may only know up to half the jutsu allowed as said rank.
[*]A companion NPC cannot teach jutsu, nor can it travel independently however the RPC can travel without their companion.
[*]The NPC has to request all Kinjutsu even if you have created it, but otherwise fighting style restrictions apply as normal.
