Kumogakure (Kumogakure no Sato/Village Hidden Among Clouds) or Kumo for short is located in the Land of Lightning. As one of the five great Ninja villages, Kumogakure has a Kage as leader, the Raikage. Most of Kumogakure's ninja specialize in lightning-based jutsu. The village itself is located around mountain terrain, and the mountain which the village is located at is just where you can see the clouds. The terrain causes for many shinobi to avoid conflicts with the nation. It is subtly a cold place because of the height and locations. The Clouded Coast

The Clouded Coast is one of the strangest mysteries that Kumogakure has to offer. The temperature on the coast is so cold that it causes the morning condensations to form clouds on the water's surface. The port here allows for imports and exports from other sea-faring countries, like Kiri and Tea. But it's clouded and fogged area makes it difficult to traverse.

Land Of The Shadows

A land much like Kumo dedicated to it's own rising of power. Land Of The Shadow's claim to fame is the ability to harness what is called the Dark Element, an element thought to be extinct. Shadows, is an area covered in never-ending night, so it's people are said to light up the streets with many lamps to provide light. The vegetation there is said to have a special glowing property which makes it different from most of the world. It is said if you eat an apple from a Shadow Tree, you will glow for a whole day,
